Kami has an easy-to-use integration to help push out assignments for the students to complete and turn in through Kami after they've used our amazing tools to annotate and complete their work.

Note: This integration uses the Kami Google Chrome extension, and will only work with Chrome Browsers for now.

Step #1: Making sure the extension is installed

The Schoology integration does rely on the Kami Chrome Extension, so that does need to be installed for the Kami option to appear.

If it is not already installed, it can be manually added to chrome using the button here: Chrome Web Store

The extension can also be pushed out by the School /District IT department to all users via the instructions here.

Step #2: Creating the assignment

In Schoology, browse to your course and choose Add Materials -> Add Assignment, and then choose 'Kami' under the Assign From App section.

Once the options open, there will be a choice between using Google Drive or OneDrive as the file storage for the assignment.

Please note whichever file storage is chosen will require the students to have an account set up with that same provider. i.e. An assignment file in OneDrive cannot be opened and saved into the student's Google Drive.

Step #3: Selecting a file

After that is picked the assignment file can be chosen from the File Picker That can be a PDF document, or any file in a format that Kami supports for conversion, e.g. Image Files, Word, Powerpoint, and many other formats.

After the file is added, the assignment can be finished in Schoology the same way a regular assignment would be.

Once that is pushed out, the students are ready to open the file up through Schoology on their Device, and then complete and turn in the work!

The workflow for the students can be found here: (button to be inserted)

Once the students have the assignments completed and turned in, the awesome Kami Grading integration can be used to provide any feedback and guidance the students need: (button to insert here):

And you have now completed the full process!
