Updated over a week ago

In the past, this was known as the LTI integration for Schoology. We have decided to move away from calling it that, and we now refer to it as the External Tool Integration.

If you have already installed the integration, you can visit our Creating Kami Assignments in Schoology article next.

✏️ If you aren't a Course Admin in Schoology but you are the Admin for Schoology in your school you can still install Kami. Please go to this link for more information.

1. Installing the Kami App integration

Follow the steps below to install it to your particular courses that you own and want to install Kami on.

After clicking Install for Me, you will be able to select the courses you want to install:

✏️ Only courses you are a course admin of will be available to install the Kami integration.

2. Installing your Consumer Key and Secret

After installing Kami to your selected courses, you will need to make sure the Consumer Key and Secret are set correctly for each course.

You can find your Consumer Key and Secret by going through this link:

Once you have your key and secret, please follow the next steps to edit your app and confirm the correct key and secret:

Once you are at the External Tool Providers section, find and select Kami

Here, you will see sections for both Consumer Key and Secret. Remember to click Submit once you filled them out.

You should be all set once this is completed for each course you installed Kami for.
