Learn how to toggle on/off tools and features for your documents or assignments

Updated over 4 months ago

How does Feature Control work?

Feature Control in your Sharing settings lets you toggle on/off tools and features your collaborators can access when they open the shared Kami document.

Any changes to your Feature Control settings will automatically update for collaborators, so you can modify it before or after you share your document.

How to use Feature Control through shared documents

  • Click Share in the top-right corner of your Kami navigation bar.

  • Select My Domain or Anyone with the link (under Sharing Permission).

  • Choose Editor or Create individual copy to see the Feature Control button.

Click the checkbox next to the tool names to toggle on/off. You can also choose All On or All Off as a shortcut.

🔍 Click the Remember Options checkbox to save your current settings.

Remember to click OK to set your settings for this document.

You can copy your sharing link with the button on the side or create a QR code here.
