How to deploy the Kami Chrome Extension and/or Kami Chrome App to the domain or specific organizational units
1.) Log in to your Google Admin account (https://admin.google.com/).
2.) Select "Devices".
3.) At the left-hand side, click on "Chrome" -> "Apps & extensions" -> "Users & browsers".
4.) After clicking on "Users & browsers", it will redirect you to a page like this. On the left-hand side, select the parent domain or specific OU. At the bottom-right side, click on the yellow circle button that has a plus sign in it. Select "Add from Chrome Web Store".
5.) Search using the keyword "Kami". You should be able to see both the Kami Chrome Extension (Kami for Google Chrome™) and Kami Google App (Kami - PDF and Document Annotation). Click on them and press the "+ Select" button.
6.) Under "Installation policy", select "Force Install". This will force install both the extension and app to all of the users under that domain or OU.
One thing that we do suggest is also is blocking other PDF viewers, such as DocHub or Text-Help Read and Write, from being install, or ensuring they aren't set as the default PDF viewer, as they may confuse students or cause conflict with the integrations during assignments. You can also follow the previous steps, find the other apps in the Chrome store, and under “Installation Policy” selecting “Block”.
