Using Kami with Google Drive

Integrate Kami with Google Drive to sync and save your work automatically.

Integrating Kami with your Google Drive

Kami’s integration with Google Drive makes it easier to open, edit, and manage all your files. Plus, all work in Kami auto-saves and syncs directly to your Google Drive, so you’ll never lose any of your work.

To get started, make sure to connect your Google Drive with Kami, and install the Kami Chrome extension if you haven't already.

Opening files with Kami from Google Drive

There are two ways to easily open any file with Kami from Google Drive:

1. Right-click on the file, hover over Open With, and then select Annotate with Kami.

2. Open or preview a file, click Open With, then select Annotate with Kami

Saving your Kami documents in Google Drive

To upload your Kami document to Google Drive, select the Saved button on the top left, and then select Upload to Google Drive.

After uploading, the icon on the left of the file name will automatically change to the Google Drive icon.

Every time you save or export your Kami documents, they'll be located in the Google Drive 'Kami Uploads' folder. Afterward, you can move your files to another location by selecting the move button.
