Kami is compatible with a range of different devices and platforms. The steps to access and use Kami may differ based on the device being used.

Learn how to successfully use Kami on each device below.

Accessing Kami on an iPad and other iOS devices

Since there is no dedicated Kami iOS app, using Kami on these devices requires accessing it via a web browser. For the best Kami experience, we recommend using the Chrome browser app to complete the following steps:

1. Navigate to kami.app in the Google Chrome browser app.

2. Sign in to Kami using your school email account details.

3. Upload a file from your Google Drive, OneDrive, or your device, then continue to use the Kami tools and features as usual.

📝 TeachersKami assignments can only be created from a laptop or PC with the Kami browser extension installed. However, you can still access Class View on an iPad to grade and give feedback through the designated iOS app for your LMS.

Accessing Kami on an Android tablet and other devices

To access Kami on an Android device, we recommend using the Chrome browser or Chrome app using the following steps:

1. Navigate to kami.app in the Google Chrome browser app.

2. Sign in to Kami using your school email account details.

3. Upload a file from your Google Drive, OneDrive, or your device, then continue to use the Kami tools and features as usual.

Optional: Install the Kami Progressive Web Application (PWA) on your device— this isn't a stand-alone Android app, but it will allow you to access the Kami tools directly from your home screen.

To do this, navigate to kami.app on your Chrome browser, then open the Chrome browser settings and select change to Desktop site.
