Accessing Kami on Mobile Devices and Tablets
iOS
There is no dedicated Kami iOS app, so logging in to Kami via the web browser is the only way to access it on these devices.
To access Kami on an iPad or iPhone:
-
Go to kami.app in your Chrome app.
-
Click Sign in and log in using your school email account details.
- Upload any documents from your Google Drive, LMS, device, or the Kami Library.
📝 For teachers: Kami assignments can only be created from a laptop or PC device that uses the Kami extension.
However, you can access Class View on an iPad to grade and give feedback through the iOS app for your LMS.
Android Devices (Tablet or Phone)
To access Kami on an Android device:
Use the Chrome browser/app on your device (we recommend using the latest version).
-
Optional: Google Drive and Google Classroom apps
-
Optional: Kami Progressive Web Application (PWA) installation onto your device— This isn't a stand-alone Android app, but it will allow you to access the Kami tools directly from your home screen.
To do this, go to kami.app on the Chrome browser on your Android device and change to 'Desktop site' via the Chrome bowser settings.
