Grading Kami assignments in Schoology

Grade Kami assignments in Schoology using Class View or the Schoology Grader, then return scores to students.

Who is this for?

👤 Teachers using Schoology.

👤 Requires a Kami paid plan.

The steps in this guide require the Kami extension be installed on your Chrome or Edge browser. If you have the Kami external tool integration for Schoology installed, learn more about grading Kami assignments with this instead.

 

How to grade Kami assignments in Schoology

1. Navigate to the desired course's Materials page and select the Kami assignment to be graded.

2. In the Kami window that appears, you'll have the option to open Class View or Edit Assignment. To grade the assignment in Class View, select the Class View button.

Otherwise, you can also grade the assignment using the Schoology Grader. Just select the Open Grader button to open the Schoology Grading page.

3. Once you're finished reviewing student work in either Kami Class View or Schoology Grader, enter a student's grade and click the Return button to share it back to them.
