Deleting annotations
Delete individual annotations, specific annotation types, or all of them at once.
Who can use this?
👤 Students and Teachers.
👤 These are free features; users on any Kami plan can do this.
The Eraser tool can also be used to remove annotations in Kami.
Deleting your annotations
2. Hover over or click the annotation to open the action bar.
💡 For Text box annotations, you can also click the orange X button in the upper left corner of the purple selection box to delete.
Deleting other user annotations
Teachers can delete student and collaborator annotations if they are the file owner.
1. Click the Select tool in your toolbar.2. Hover over or click the annotation.
3. In the action bar that appears, click the Trash icon.
4. In the Confirm Annotation Deletion pop-up, click Delete.
Deleting a group of annotations
1. Click the Select tool in your toolbar, then choose Select Annotations.
2. Click and drag to select the group of annotations.
3. A toolbar will appear at the top of the screen (beneath the navigation bar).
4. Click the delete button to remove.

Delete all annotations
1. The Delete all annotations option will give you a clear canvas across all of the pages in your document.
2. Go to Menu in the menu bar.3. Select Delete all annotations in the Menu dropdown.
4. In the pop-up window that opens, select Delete My Annotations
💡 Teachers who own the document will also have the option to Delete all annotations here, not just their own.
