Adding users via email or CSV file

1. In the license dashboard, select Manage License on the desired license.

Manage license

2. Open the Add Users tab to view the available deployment options, then refer to the steps for each method below:

Add users tab

Adding via email

This method allows you to simply enter the desired user's email(s) to add them to the license. If you are adding more than one user, make sure to separate them line by line or by a comma.

When finished, select Add.

Adding via CSV file

With this method, you can upload a CSV file containing a list of the user emails to be included on the license.

This method is useful when you want to add or remove a large number of users at once (as opposed to manually typing/pasting each email in the above method).

The CSV file can be created in either Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, and should contain a single column of the user emails. If needed, you can download a sample CSV file for reference.

⛔️ Make sure that your file includes a header row that says “Email” above the list of email addresses to be added.

    When finished, select Add Users.

📝 Files containing a large number of users may take a few minutes to process before they are reflected in the license.

    License invite system

In most cases, users automatically join a license after their admin adds them in the license dashboard.

However, if the admin adding them is not a domain admin, the users will instead receive an invite notification in Kami, prompting them to join the license.

💡 If a user accidentally closes the invite notification, they can reopen it from the Account & Settings menu, under the License Invites section.

Checking the status of added users

In the license dashboard, the status column in the user list indicates whether the user was added instantly or invited.

    • Accepted means they were added, and no further action is required.
    • Invited means they have not yet accepted/declined the invitation to join the license.
    • Rejected means the user has selected decline on the license invitation. To be re-invited, they will need to be added again, or they can enter the license key themselves to be added instantly.
