Who can do this?
👤 The Export feature is available for Students and Teachers.
👤 This is a free feature; users on any Kami plan can do this.
In addition to the Export options discussed here, separate options are also available for sharing files from Kami.
How to Export files
Once you have finished annotating a document in Kami, you have several options for exporting it.
1. Select the the Export button from the Navigation Bar to explore the different Export options.
2. A drop-down menu will open where you select Export, Quick Download, Print Original, or Print with annotations.

Export — Save the file to your device, Google Drive, or OneDrive with customizable options.

Quick Download — Save the file to your device with one click. All annotations will be included and unflattened.

Print Original — Open the original file (with no annotations) in your device's Print preview window.

Print with annotations — Open the annotated file in your device's Print preview window.
Export settings
If you've selected the Export option from the Export drop-down menu, a window will open where you can configure your Export settings.
Export to
Choose where to export your file to: Your Computer, Google Drive, or OneDrive.
Options
Choose how you want your file exported:
Original No Annotation — Download the original file without annotations in PDF format.
With All Annotations — Download the annotated file in PDF format. Selecting this will display additional options to configure.
Annotations Only Export — Download just your annotations in PDF format.
With All Annotations specific options
If you've selected the With All Annotations option, additional options will be displayed for you to configure:
File Name — Set the file name for your export.
Destination — Choose the folder to save your file to. Only available if Google Drive or OneDrive is selected in the Export to section.
Flatten Annotations — Annotations included in the file will be non-editable. Learn more about Flattening Annotations.
Pages — Choose which pages will be included in your export (All Pages, Annotated Pages only, or enter a page number/range).
