Who can do this?
π€ This guide is for Teachers.
π€ This is a free feature; users on any Kami plan can do this.
Sharing links are useful for those using Kami without an integrated LMS, or teachers using link-based assignments in Schoology or Canvas.
Using Kami sharing links
You don't need an integrated LMS (such as Google Classroom, Canvas, or Schoology) to create assignments with Kami. Any document in Kami can be sent to your students as an assignment using sharing links.
After you've finished perfecting your file and are ready to assign it, select the Share button from the top navigation bar to open the sharing settings.
The options in the sharing settings window will vary depending on where your file is currently saved. Find the steps specific to each save location below.
After copying the Kami Sharing Link, you can email it to your students for them to use. Otherwise, this can be used to create link-based assignments in an LMS, such as Schoology or Canvas.
Students can then share their individual file copies immediately, even if they have not yet started their assignment.
After you've received a student'sΒ Kami Sharing Link, you can use it to open their file in the Kami app. This will allow you to monitor their progress and grade their work after they finish the assignment.
π When making annotations, don't forget to click Save to save your changes to the file.
