How to insert a new page

Adding a new page to your document is easy with Kami! Just follow the steps below:

1. Scroll down to the bottom of the document and click on the circular plus (+) icon to Add More Pages.

2. At this stage, you may be prompted to re-upload your document to Google Drive or OneDrive. Select either option to proceed.

3. After uploading, the Add New Pages menu pop-up will then open. This allows you to customize the page(s) being added. A preview of your design will be shown on the upper-right side of the window.

4. Select the first drop-down setting to choose which Page type you'd like to add. Choices range from blank pages to musical staves, lined pages, and Venn diagrams!

You can also choose to add a new pre-designed page from the Kami Library.

πŸ“ Certain Page type selections allow for further customization. For example, selecting the Lined page type allows you to modify the line color, thickness, and spacing.

5. The next setting allows you to adjust the Page size.

❗️ This setting is not available for the chart, model, or diagram page types, as these pages have pre-fixed sizes.

6. The next setting lets you choose either Landscape or Portrait Orientation for your page(s).

7. You can also adjust the number of pages to be added with your selected settings using the Pages field. Just select and type to change from the default setting of 1.

8. Lastly, you have the option to change the Background Color of the page(s) you're adding. You can find the perfect shade from our available color palettes in the Swatches tab, or create your own mix in the Color picker tab.

❗️ This setting is not available for the chart, model, or diagram page types, as these pages are pre-designed by Kami.

9. When you're done with your creation, select the Add button at the bottom of the window to add the new page(s). After adding a page, it'll appear at the bottom of your document.

How do I remove a page from my document?

To reorder or remove pages from your document, just load the document into the Split & Merge tool from the dropdown menu in the menu bar.
