Convert files when you Open with Kami
Opening your Google app files in Kami with the Convert non-PDF file feature saves the original file as a new version, separate from the version you'll edit in Kami. Therefore, the new copy essentially acts as a backup in Google Drive that you can revert to, if needed.
How to turn on "Convert non-PDF file":
1. Navigate to the Account & Settings button in the top right-hand corner of Kami.
2. Click Settings, then open the the AI + Beta Features tab.
3. Toggle the Convert non-PDF file on.
