Kami network requirements

Allow Kami to function properly behind a firewall, filtered internet connection, and more potential blockers.


Network Resources

For Kami to work properly, access needs to be granted to certain network resources. Here's a list of what to unblock:

  • HTTP and HTTPS access to *.kamihq.com and *.kamiapp.com (For example, www.kamihq.com, web.kamihq.com, web.kamiapp.com kamicors.kamihq.com)

  • HTTP and HTTPS access to *.kamifiles.com (e.g. t.kamiaccess.com), *.kamiaccess.com, *.kamiaccessfiles.com (e.g. h.kamiaccessfiles.com)

  • HTTP and HTTPS access to *.kamipdf.com for links to work from emails

  • HTTPS access to *.statuspage.io for in-app downtime/maintenance notifications

  • Access to accounts.google.com and accounts.youtube.com to allow logging into Kami through G Suite.

  • HTTPS access to notabletemporarydownloads.s3.amazonaws.com and notableuploads.s3.amazonaws.com

  • HTTPS access to www.googleapis.com

  • Websocket and HTTPS access to wss.kamihq.com for live updates to documents

 

Email domains

Make sure to add the following domains to your email allowlist:

  • kamipdf.com

  • kamihq.com

  • kamiapp.com

  • kami.app

  • meetkami.com

  • m.kamiapp.com


For Google Workspace Admins

Kami requires specific permissions when used across Google Workspace. Refer to the below guides to make sure that Kami functions properly:


Using Kami with other Browser Extensions and proxy tools

Some browser extensions can potentially block Kami connections, preventing the app from working properly. If possible, we recommend adding Kami to the extension/tool's allowlist or disabling the extension/tool(s) from the Kami side.

To disable them on the Kami side, simply open Kami and click on the extension you want to disable. Then, select the disable or block option to prevent it from working when the Kami app is in use.

Below is a list of known extensions/tools that can potentially cause issues when used alongside Kami:

  • GoGuardian

  • Zscaler

  • Lightspeed
