Adding voice/language options from Mac OS

How to add more voice/language options to Read aloud

On Mac OS devices, you can add more voice/language options from your operating system to be used in Kami with the Read aloud tool.

1. Open System Settings and select the Accessibility tab, then select Read and Speak under the Vision section.

2. Find the System Voice setting (towards the bottom of the page) and select the information icon next to the current voice selection.

 

 

 

3. In the window that opens, you can navigate through the different language options on the left-side panel and listen to the available voice options in the center panel. Any voices you download here will become available to use in Kami.

 

 

4. You can also select voices to make additional adjustments to the rate, pitch, volume, etc. When finished, select Done.
