Adding voice/language options from Chrome OS

How to add more voice/language options to Read aloud

On Chrome OS devices, you can add more voice/language options from your operating system to be used in Kami with the Read aloud tool.

1. Open Settings and select the Accessibility tab, then select Text-to-Speech.

2. Select the Text-to-Speech voice settings.

 

3. Find and select the Settings button next to Chrome OS built-in text-to-speech extension, beneath the Speech Engines section.

 

 

4. In the page that opens, you can scroll or search through the available voice/language options. When you find one you'd like to use, select Install. Any voices installed here will be available to use in Kami.
