Adding Kami to the Google allowlist

Add third-party apps like Kami to the Google for Education allowlist for simplified access across your organization.

Who is this for?

👤 Google Admin users.
👤 Requires a Google Workspace for Education license.

The steps in this guide require the Kami app to be deployed to your organization via the Google Admin Workspace. For more information and installation steps, refer to this guide.

What does this do?

Adding Kami to your Google Advanced Protection (GAP) allowlist essentially informs Google that your organization trusts Kami and should grant it access to Google services. Note: This access can be revoked at any time, if needed.

Configuring this at the organizational level will allow Kami to work more efficiently with your teachers and students by requiring fewer prompts when accessing Google services (such as Google Drive).
