How to use Voice Typing in Kami

Where is Voice Typing in Kami?

There are two ways to use Voice Typing in Kami:


1. Comment tool, Text Comment - you can find the speaker icon to use Voice Typing on the right-hand side of a Text Comment annotation you created.

2. Text Box tool - you can find the Voice Typing on the far right of the Text Box toolbar that appears at the top side of the Kami app.


Changing the language detection for Voice Typing

You can change the language detection for Voice Typing in the Kami settings. Follow the prompts below to locate where to change it.

πŸ“Œ: Voice Typing in Kami does not translate your speech to the language selected in the settings. The language setting is purely designed to better recognize your specific language accent and the words you are using.


​1. Click on your initials at the top right-hand side of the Kami app to reveal a drop-down menu where you can find the Settings button.

2. This will open the Settings window. Navigate your way to the App Settings tab. Here you can find the Voice typing language to set your desired language for when use this feature. Hit the X button to close the window. This will save the changes and refresh your app.
