What is the Drawing tool?

The Drawing tool provides complete customization with freehand drawing capabilities, a handy Ruler, a Protractor, and a Compass. With 100+ colors to choose from. Our Drawing tool is designed to give you seamless lines and precision, whether using a mouse or a stylus.

How to use the Drawing tool?

In your toolbar, click the Drawing tool. Click and hold anywhere on the page to start drawing. If you’re using a touchscreen, you can start drawing freely as your finger or stylus touches the screen.

  1. Stroke Thickness: Modify this to change your stroke weight.

  2. Stoke Type: Choose between straight or dotted strokes.

  3. Transparency: Modify this to increase and decrease the transparency of your strokes.

  4. Ruler: Use the Ruler to measure your page and draw straight lines. Measurements are in centimeters and inches. It is accurate to the page dimensions.

  5. Protractor: Use the Protractor to draw angles of known measures or find angles of unknown measures.

  6. Compass: Use the Compass for drawing circles or arcs. It can also used to mark out distances.

How to use the Ruler?

  1. In your toolbar, click the Drawing tool and select Ruler.

  2. Click and hold the Ruler to move it around, and click the arrows to rotate it around the page.

  3. Draw near the Ruler to draw straight lines.

  4. Click the X on the ruler to disable it. The Ruler will also disappear if you click a different tool.

How to use the Protractor?

In your toolbar, click the Drawing tool and select Protractor.

  1. 180 degree protractor

  2. 360 degree protractor

The Protractor will appear near the center of your current page.

Click and hold the Protractor around the center area to move it around. Click and hold it around the edges to rotate it instead. Draw near the Protractor's edge to draw curved lines.

  1. Click the + or - to increase or decrease the Protractor's size.

  2. Click the circular arrow icon near the center point to reset the Protractors' rotational position

  3. To reverse the angle measurement direction, click the reflection icon located at the center. It's the bottom right one, with two little triangles.

How to use the Compass?

In your toolbar, click the Drawing tool and select Compass. The Compass will appear near the center of your current page.

  1. Rotate the Comass without drawing on the document using the circle arrow button

  2. Adjust the radius between the needle's point and the pencil end by moving the right arm of the Compass. This is the arm that holds the pencil.

  3. Once you are happy with the location of the Compass, hover over the pencil part until your cursor changes to a pencil cursor. Click, hold, and move your mouse in a circular direction to start drawing. Release the mouse click when you are happy with the drawing you made.

  4. Move the Compass by holding at the hinges area where the four-directional arrow icon is located.

  5. Change from inches to centimeters
