1️⃣ Set up your Kami extension and account
Install the Kami extension:
Install the Kami Chrome Extension here.
Click Add to Chrome, then Add Extension.
If you are a Microsoft user you can install the Kami Edge Extension here.
Click Get, then Add Extension.
Sign up or log in to Kami:
To open Kami, click the extension from your browser, or head straight to kami.app
Sign up or log in using your school's email account, either With Google or With Microsoft.
If signing up, follow the prompts to create a profile and make sure to select Student as your role. This allows your teacher(s) to find your profile and add you to their Kami teacher license.
2️⃣ Open your assignment with Kami
Go to Canvas, open your Class, and go to Assignments.
Select your assignment and click View Assignment.
Open your assignment under Your Work and click the Load in a new window button to start.
Now you're in Kami, you can start working on your assignment using all of Kami's tools!
3️⃣ Turn in your Kami assignment
Once you're ready to submit your work to your teacher, click the Submit button on the top-right corner, and that's it!
If you want to make changes, you can hit Unsubmit at any time.
💡 Tip: Kami automatically saves your work as you go! You can also click the Save button on the top right-hand corner in Kami.
