📖 Schoology now has Class View and can do In-Progress Grading when using the External tool. Below are relevant links to Install the External Tool and how to use it.
If you can't use the External Tool for any reason and only use the Extension version for Schoology, this article is for you.
Setting up in-progress grading for the Schoology Extension Integration
To set up the in-progress grading for the Schoology extension requires you to locate the files in the Shared with me section. We recommend having the file name saved in a separate file to make locating the files related to that assignment easier.
Open Google Drive, then click on the Search Bar Settings at the top.
Set the location to the Shared with me folder.
Paste the file name you want to view into the Search Bar and click Search.
Locate the student whose work you wish to view from the name at the front of the file.
Right-click on the file and select Open with, then Annotate with Kami.
Once the file is open, you are ready to start providing your feedback to that student.
❗️ If you are not seeing the Annotate with Kami option, you may need to click on Connect more apps at the bottom of the Open with Menu and add Kami as a connected app.
