What is Screen Masking

Screen masking plays a significant role in enhancing educational accessibility and focus, particularly in today's increasingly digital learning environments. Here's a breakdown of its importance:

  1. Enhanced Focus: Reduces distractions and improves attention.

  2. Increased Accessibility: Supports diverse learners (dyslexia, ADHD) and aids in assessments.

  3. Reduced Visual Fatigue: Minimizes eye strain.

  4. Improved Comprehension: Guides line-by-line reading.

Where to find the Screen Masking feature

Go to Kami, and at the top right, look for the View menu option. The Screen Masking toggle is at the very bottom.

All the tools should still function the same with the Screen Masking on.

Changing the Screen Masking settings

Go to your profile settings and select App Settings on the left. Scroll down to the Accessibility section, where you will see the Screen Masking Settings.

This lets you change the screen masking height, opacity, and color.
