Dyslexia support in Kami

Support in Kami for students who are Dyslexic

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Kami interface for Dyslexic students

We have integrated the Open Dyslexic font into the Kami app to assist your students who need help with reading.

To find this accessibility option, first go to your Kami settings.

You can find it in your settings under App Settings > Accessibility. Once you select the tick box to turn on Use dyslexic-friendly Font, it will ask you to reload Kami.

Once you reload you will see the Kami interface is now in the Open Dyslexic font.

Dyslexic font for writing support in Text Boxes

The same font support is also available when writing in text boxes. Create a text box and change the font to Open Dyslexic at the very bottom of the options.

This will allow you to type in an Open Dyslexic font and make it more accessible for your students.

If you need further assistance, don't hesitate to get in touch with us at support@kamiapp.com or book some training with one of our Teacher Success Champions here: https://www.kamiapp.com/training
